Dr. Jason Gallant is an award winning licensed psychologist and founder of the Florida Center for Behavioral Health. Dr. Gallant obtained his undergraduate education at Florida State University and received his doctoral degree from the University of Florida with an emphasis in pediatric and school psychology.

Dr. Gallant went on to complete a fellowship at the Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health in Omaha, Nebraska under the supervision of internationally renowned behavioral psychologist, Dr. Patrick Friman. There, Dr. Gallant was introduced to and trained extensively in the Primary Care Pediatric Psychology model.

After fellowship, Dr. Gallant was offered a director position at Boys Town Central Florida and tasked with developing the Boys Town Central Florida Behavioral Health Clinic. His dedication and passion for his community and providing high quality services led to rapid expansion. In his 9 year tenure, Dr. Gallant and his staff provided services to over 5,000 youth, families, and young adults. As a result of his accomplishments and commitment to his community, Dr. Gallant was awarded the prestigious Outstanding Young Alumnus Award by the University of Florida in 2014. In 2021, Dr. Gallant was the recipient of the esteemed Top 40 Under 40 award by the University of Florida for his work in Primary Care Pediatric Psychology.

Dr. Gallant has a strong bond with his family and his South Florida roots. Despite his widespread success in Central Florida, Dr. Gallant chose to return home to his family, friends, and community. In April 2021, he started the Florida Center for Behavioral Health. The Florida Center for Behavioral Health presents a unique opportunity for Dr. Gallant to bring the primary care pediatric psychology model to South Florida. The mission of this venture is to provide the highest quality solution oriented behavioral health services to children, adolescents, families, and young adults in Broward and Palm Beach counties.

On a personal level, Dr. Gallant is passionate about his family, friends, colleagues, and Jack Russell, Lola. Outside of work he enjoys fitness, health, reading, the ocean, and his Florida State Seminoles! He is an avid cruiser and amateur pizza connoisseur. Dr. Gallant takes pride in his community involvement and philanthropy. In 2013, he created a scholarship at the University of Florida to honor the lives of his grandparents who gave so much to him during his formative years.

The Florida Center for Behavioral Health is inspired by and in memory of the love, guidance, and support given to Dr. Gallant during his personal and professional upbringing. It is with a special distinction that we dedicate this clinic to the memory of Harry and Pauline Zaid, Donald Gallant, Herman Teitler, and Dr. Thomas Oakland.
